Coach Isaac Wuotila

Coach Isaac Wuotila leads U12/U14 development for The Tide. A Woodbury HS Royals alum, Coach Wuotila played D/LSM (Defense / Long-Stick Midfielder) for Woodbury across the 2016, 2017, and 2018 seasons, wearing #24 in the Suburban East Conference.

Coach Wuotila went on to play college lacrosse at Lincoln Memorial University (Harrogate, Tennessee) in the South Atlantic Conference. As a freshman LSM in 2020, he wore #30 for the Railsplitters and appeared in 5 games with 2 starts, recording 3 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers — the bread-and-butter stat line for a long-pole defender, and the same fundamentals he teaches every Tide U12/U14 player.

At 6'2", 200 lbs, Coach Wuotila coaches youth players the long-stick fundamentals he built his career on: takeaway technique, ground-ball mechanics, transition decision-making, and the body discipline that lets a long-pole defender match up against any offensive player on the field. He was also a multi-sport athlete at Woodbury, playing lacrosse and football for the Royals.
