Tryouts & Roster Placement

Tryouts place players by age onto a summer team that trains and competes together. Here’s how placement works — and where to find current dates and registration.

East Side Tide places players onto its summer club lacrosse teams through evaluation-based tryouts in the East Metro. Players try out with their age group — U10 through high school — and coaches place each player onto the team that fits. Current tryout dates, the fee, and registration are published on the registration page.

2027 tryout dates & registration

Dates, times, locations, and the tryout fee for every age group are published in one place — the registration page.

How it works

How tryouts and placement work

No politics, no pre-picked rosters. Players get evaluated, and evaluation decides placement.

Try out with your age group

Players are grouped by age, U10 through high school, and evaluated by Tide coaches. Not sure where your player fits? We’ll help you find the right group.

Every player gets a real look

Placement is evaluation-based. Coaches watch every player — not just the standouts — and place each one onto the summer roster that fits his game.
